Marriott Rewards members have been able to earn points for room rate and room service and also redeem them for stays at the Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas that is part of the Autograph Collection.
Cosmopolitan Identity members can now convert their points to Marriott Rewards ones and vice versa. Cosmopolitan doesn’t have the conversion table up on their website.
You can access Cosmopolitan’s website for Marriott partnership here.
Marriott Rewards has published (access here) the redemption table for points conversions to Cosmopolitan Identity. One Identity points costs 2.5 Marriott Rewards points.
As you cannot earn Marriott points directly for anything else than the accommodation and room service, it makes sense to sign up for the Identity program and collect Identity points for other expenses that you can later convert to Marriott Rewards.
Sorry, but I have never understood gambling. You can never win the house on the long run. Never. Period. If you have so much money that you don’t know what to do with it, just donate some of it to a good charity.
If someone has access to Cosmopolitan Identity program’s conversion table to Marriott Rewards points or Identity award chart (how to use their points), just leave comment below or drop me an email.
Using Marriott Rewards points for Cosmopolitan is truly a waste unless the rates are through the roof (and the award availability then is likely gone too), because it is award category 8 property requiring 40,000 Marriott Rewards points per night.
