When I was checking Flipboard earlier this week, I came across this very interesting 100 years of aviation feature (you can access it here) on Guardian’s website.
It has four different sections for mapping the flights that are currently operating, birth of the industry, timeline that shows all the main events (and number of tickers sold year by year) and prediction for the future.
The feature is very well done and is extremely informative. Well worth the time (just make sure that you are not using it over mobile date or bad internet connection as it sees to be rather data heavy).
This is very worthy piece to spend some time exploring the main events of the aviation in the past 100 years and the feature showing all the flights mapped is interesting.
