Several LoyaltyLobby readers have commented that their IHG Rewards Club status that was supposed to be valid until the end of 2014 had been downgraded early.
This affected one Royal Ambassador member as well, whose status was supposed to be valid until the end of April, 2014.
Seems that there must have been some sort of IT status expiry glitch with matched and referred accounts.
You should just call the IHG Rewards Club and they will extend the status per the originally offered/agreed to expiry date.
So, if your matched/referred status was abruptly downgraded, just drop an email or call IHG Rewards Club. They will be able to fix the situation, as they have already done for some readers.
