The very popular US Airways Dividend Miles Share Miles promotion is back for seven days. You can get up to 100% bonus on shared miles. This means that you can essentially buy 50,000 miles at 1.1 cents each.
This offer is valid sharing up to 50,000 miles between April 7-13, 2014.
You don’t get this bonus on purchased miles. This offer is only valid when you share miles with another party that can be a family member. You can access this offer on US Airways website here. Remember to choose “Share Miles” option to bring up this promotion.
The bonus is dependent of the number of miles you share. To get the 100% bonus you must share at least 30,000 miles.
Your friend can share 50,000 miles with you and you can then share 50,000 mile with your friend. Both will end up with 50,000 more miles at the price of $567.50.
Conclusion
You can usually buy US Airways Dividend Miles between 1.8 to 2 cents during the monthly sales. This 100% share miles bonus is absolutely the cheapest way to buy miles every year and you should take advantage of it. I personally will.
You can now use Dividend Miles for Oneworld alliance awards and these will eventually turn to American Airlines AAdvantage miles once the programs are merged sometime late 2014 or early 2015.
