Club Carlson has a new offer for American Express card holders for instant Club Carlson Gold status that is valid until February 28, 2015. The registration deadline is May 31, 2014.

The sign up link work for addresses in Europe (certainly for Germany). If you only get a red status, it means that the country that you used for is not participating. Use another one.
The sign up page states that the offer is valid for recipients of that email, but that is not the case. Anyone can sign up using the correct offer code.
Note that a LoyaltyLobby reader who forwarded me this offer requested that I wouldn’t post the offer code on open web.
Here are the benefits of the Club Carlson Gold status from a similar offer for Singapore Airlines Gold members. Note that this Amex offer doesn’t come with bonus miles or require any stay activity.

1. Subscribing for our email newsletter (if you haven’t already done so) and hitting a reply once you have confirmed the subscription
2. Liking LoyaltyLobby on Facebook and sending a private message
3. Following LoyaltyLobby on Twitter and tweeting a request. You must follow LoyaltyLobby because I will send the sign up link using Direct Message. Twitter still doesn’t allow web links on Direct Message so this is not an option.
Conclusion
Club Carlson Gold is a midtier level on Club Carlson’s loyalty program below their Concierge, which is the highest tier. The program is best for stays in Europe where they have most of the quality properties.
