On Monday, I wrote about Hyatt’s interesting instant Gold Passport Platinum and Diamond fast track offers for new or existing accounts targeted at Microsoft employees (access here). Hyatt retired the offer a day later (read more here).
EDIT: The sign up with instructions has been sent to those that followed the requesting procedure below. We will no longer process any more sign ups.
We have now been able to locate another similar fast track offer that includes the instant Platinum status + fast track to Diamond.
The offer also includes a fast track offer to Diamond status that requires 20 stays or 40 nights (usually 25 stays or 50 nights) that is applicable for current Diamond members as well.
The Platinum status is valid until February, 2015, but can be extended by having 4 stays or ten nights before the end of 2014.
If you are current Hyatt Gold Passport Diamond member and sign up for this offer, you can re-qualify by having 20 stays or 40 nights.
Here are the Hyatt Gold Passport Platinum benefits:
1. Excludes Regency Club® and Grand Club® rooms and suites. Not available at Hyatt Place properties, Hyatt House properties, and Hyatt Residence Club resorts. 2. Request must be made at the time of reservation; not available at Hyatt Residence Club resorts. 3. Daily complimentary Standard in-room internet access will be provided during all stays. Internet access may be wired or wireless and varies by property. If the hotel offers wired and wireless internet services, it is at the hotel’s discretion which Internet service to provide. Upgrades to premium service may be available for an additional fee. 4. Not available at Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, Hyatt Zilara™ and Hyatt Ziva™ properties or Hyatt Residence Club resorts. 5. Guarantee not valid at Hyatt resorts, Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva properties , Hyatt Residence Club resorts, or during extraordinary room demand. 6. Subject to availability at Hyatt resorts and casinos. Not available at Hyatt Residence Club resorts. These benefits are subject to the complete Hyatt Gold Passport Program Terms and Conditions.
The main Platinum benefits are the complimentary internet access and the use of “My Elite” discount rate that you can read more here.
You can request the sign up in two ways:
1. Subscribe to our blog email newsletter, confirm your subscription and just hit reply to the confirmation email with a request for the Hyatt Platinum link.
2. If you are current subscriber, just reply to our daily newsletter or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and include a short message that you would like to get the Hyatt signup link. To ensure only our subscribers get the link, we will cross reference the email address where the request was made to our subscriber list.
2. Like us on Facebook and send a private message. Posting on the Facebook wall or commenting the post itself won’t yield the link.
Note: Facebook doesn’t allow us to send more than 100 messages per day (found this out recently), so the best method is to do the request via the blog email newsletter.
I will start replying to these requests and sending the link after 6PM on Sunday (Eastern Time).
EDIT: Links have been sent out. If you are having issues landing at the right page, please cut and paste the link from the email, rather than clicking on it.
Note that the sign up was working this morning and the new account was upgraded to Platinum in few hours time. Hyatt could always make changes in the next 36 hours disabling this, so this is a dynamic offer.
I would rather have the link here up on the post, but it unfortunately it would be again be very short lived. I was quite amazed to see only after a short few hours of my original post, this offer appearing on all of the credit card pimping “travel” blogs that have zero original content and did not give LoyaltyLobby any credit whatsoever.
