Seems that this might be the Hyatt’s summer promotion this year. 1,500 miles per stay (500 base + 1,000 bonus) is not bad for cheap stays, but makes very little sense for expensive ones.

PROMOTION PERIOD: Promotion begins May 1, 2014 and ends August 31, 2014 (“Promotion Period”).
ELIGIBLE STAYS: For the purpose of this Offer, an “Eligible Stay” is defined in the complete Terms and Conditions of the Hyatt Gold Passport program, except that stays at M life resorts do not count as Eligible Stays under this promotion.
