Marriott Rewards Gold and Platinum members have guaranteed access to the executive/concierge lounges at Marriott properties worldwide.
Anytime the lounge is not open Gold and Platinum members are eligible for continental breakfast for two or 750 Marriott Rewards points daily. There are, however, limited number of properties that don’t offer breakfast but rather give you 1,000 points instead and Marriott has now updated this list.
You can access Marriott Rewards Terms and conditions here.
JW Essex House and JW Indianapolis are both gone from the list (breakfast is always guaranteed) and Renaissance New York Hotel 57 has been added to the excluded properties.
In a perfect world there shouldn’t be exclusion list for such a basic elite benefit as a continental breakfast. Some Marriott affiliated properties, however, rather give you 1,000 points that cost them $6.50 than offer a continental breakfast.
