U.S. Travel Association Daily Getaways Third Week June 2-6, 2014 (Hyatt & IHG Rewards Club)

The U.S. Travel Association’s Daily Getaways are already on their third week and we have two more to go. There are number of travel companies selling points/voucher this week, but I will only cover Hyatt Gold Passport and the return of the IHG Rewards Club.

Daily Getaways Third Week June 2-6, 2014

US Travel Association Daily Getaways Week 3

Wednesday June 4, 2014, at 1PM EST

– Hyatt Gold Passport 24,000 points for $260 – 95 available – Max 1 & Max 4 across all Hyatt offers (price per point 1.1 cents)

– Hyatt Gold Passport 40,000 points for $415 – 15 available – Max 1 & Max 4 across all Hyatt offers (price per point 1 cents)

– Hyatt Gold Passport 72,000 points for $775 – 15 available – Max 1 & Max 4 across all Hyatt offers (price per point 1.1 cents)

– Hyatt Gold Passport 30,000 points for $330 – 35 available – Max 1 & Max 4 across all Hyatt offers (price per point 1.1 cents)

The number of Hyatt packages available is really low, so likelihood of being able to purchase one is close to zero. Considering that you can stretch Hyatt points by doing Points + Cash redemptions that are eligible for all the promotion, this is one of the better deals.

Thursday June 5, 2014, at 1PM EST

– IHG Rewards Club 100,000 points for $630 – 1,000 available – Max 3 & Max 16 across all IHG Rewards Club offers (price per point 0.63 cents)

– IHG Rewards Club 15,000 points for $100 – 2,500 available – Max 5 & Max 16 across all IHG Rewards Club offers (price per point 0.67 cents)

– IHG Rewards Club 25,000 points for $167 – 2,000 available – Max 4 & Max 16 across all IHG Rewards Club offers (price per point 0.67 cents)

– IHG Rewards Club 50,000 points for $325 – 1,250 available – Max 4 & Max 16 across all IHG Rewards Club offers (price per point 0.65cents)

Buying IHG Rewards Club points is a good deal IF you can use them for very expensive InterContinental hotels such as the Amstel in Amsterdam or Point Breaks at 5,000 points per night.

This is exactly the same offer that Daily Getaways had last week.

Conclusion

The price of the Hyatt Gold Passport point under this offer is very reasonable and even better if you can get an additional 10% off. The number of packages available for sale is really low, however. IHG Rewards Club had exactly the same number of points available for purchase last week and the number of packages available is high.
