A LoyaltyLobby reader sent me a message yesterday about forced password change by Club Carlson if you try to log in to your online account.
What Club Carlson is not telling to anyone, why they require you to choose a new password. There is no note online beyond that your old password doesn’t work and you must use “Forgot your password? Create new password” function.
Why would they require ALL Club Carlson members to create new password unless they are sure that their account database would have been hacked and the information used by unauthorized 3rd parties? Why hasn’t Club Carlson sent any information about this issue to its members?
The new password requirements are so string that it is practically impossible to remember it. You must have both lower and upper case letters, have at least one number + special character and the password must be 8 to 20 characters long.
Why wouldn’t Club Carlson sent out an email to its members about this required password change? They should come clear about possible breach on their system.
