IHG Rewards Club Promo Registration Page Terms Change (Small Print)

IHG Rewards Club started closing some accounts that had signed up for promotions that they weren’t targeted for. I have written about this issue several times here and here.

IHG Rewards Club Offer Registration

Now, IHG has changed the wording that is on the page that is used for promo registration.

You can access IHG’s promo registration page here.

Here’s the small print:

Many offers are only available to IHG® Rewards Club members who receive a specific, targeted communication from IHG. Successful registration does not guarantee that you will receive the points or miles offered when the offer requirements are met if you are not eligible per the offer terms and conditions. Six Continents Hotels, Inc.(SCH) and its subsidiaries and affiliates which are InterContinental Hotels Group companies (collectively IHG) reserve the right to cancel any IHG® Rewards Club membership and revoke any and all unredeemed IHG® Rewards Club points for fraud or abuse of any portion of the program per the IHG® Rewards Club membership terms and conditions.

Conclusion

I had not seen this text previous and I believe that it has been added in the past month or so. Just realized when signing up for couple of promotions that are new and may yield some extra points, although they are not tracking on “My Offer Status”. Will do a separate post about them IF some points post.
