I signed up for the $100 promo and day after received the invitation from Best Western Rewards for the $25, which I also signed up for. Then yesterday I received the $25 Travel Card by email.
Now, some always say that why do I write about targeted promotions that are not open for all. My reply always is that:
1. It is always good to know what offers are out there
2. It never hurts to sign up anyway. You may have been targeted but the email was lost along the way.
Here’s an email that I received from a LoyaltyLobby reader:
I have enjoyed reading your blog for at least a couple of years now. I just wanted to thank you for your very recent post about the Best Western $100 Travel Card, a targeted promotion. Although I have Diamond status, I never received any invitation from Best Western. Nevertheless, I used the link on your site and, voila, this morning I received an email with a $100 card voucher number. I presented the card voucher number an hour ago when checking in at the Best Western Plus Denver and it went through! Thanks for the $100 tip! Happy Travels!
It never hurts to try signing up for these offers. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t. I am glad that at least one reader managed to get the $100 card.
