A LoyaltyLobby reader emailed me a snap he took at the Sheraton Club lounge in Salzburg about a fellow guest that was wearing quite interesting attire.
This really reminds me that hotels should have a welcome letter for club level guests that would clearly communicate what the appropriate dress code is from smart casual upwards.
What do you think? Is a bathrobe appropriate thing to wear into a club lounge?
I really don’t get it when people show up in a bathrobe or sweaty fitness gear. Better hotels have “matrons” close to the entrance to remind people about the enforced dress code. This often includes children that are not allowed into the lounge during the evening cocktail hours, although some hotels especially in the Middle East have “dry” family sections for the children and their nannies.
Your almost could understand someone showing up in a bathrobe in a resort destination but at the Sheraton Salzburg?
