A LoyaltyLobby reader forwarded me an email that he had received from Expedia introducing Expedia+ Business Rewards.
Expedia+ Business Rewards account is assigned to a company and one has to be an administrator. For now, all Expedia+ Business Rewards linked individual travelers that continue to earn rewards under their individual accounts receive an automatic Silver status in the program.
You can access Expedia+ Rewards Business web page here.
Here are the current benefits:
The Business Rewards account basically receives a $50 hotel coupon for every 10 hotel nights that the attached members book under their accounts or the administrator books for them.
The member accounts now receive Silver status as well that allows them to earn rewards faster and supposedly get priority access to customer care.
I ave written about watered down Expedia+ Rewards few times in the past and that I don’t think too high of this program at all (due to all the devaluations since the program launch). I do, however, like to use Expedia for my air bookings and hotel ones as well when there are BRG (Best Rate Guarantee) opportunities.
If you have a business and employees/friends who uses Expedia to book their travel, why not sign up and receive the hotel coupons that you can later use?
