Rocketmiles sent out emails today inviting people that had signed up for the service but not used it yet to download their new iPhone app and get 5,000 bonus miles for first booking that is done by September 27, 2014.
Note that the email came with an unique code that is required to be inputted to the app to get the 5,000 bonus miles.

I have checked hotels using this service several times and did again today. I am on my way to Montreal for the weekend and was researching hotel options.
The number of properties that Rocketmiles had available through their service was rather limited and nothing really fit what I was looking for. I will, however, one day use their service at least once to get the first booking bonus miles!
The problem is that Rocketmiles resells Tourico inventory where hotels dump their rooms during soft periods. Rocketmiles then jacks up their discounted wholesale price to match the hotels headline rates and gives you miles for the difference.
