Conclusion

Buying Hilton HHonors points at thus price generally makes no sense at all. I would say that a fair value of a Hilton HHonors point is roughly one third of a cent.

You could argue that in special instances such as finding a category 1 hotel where you actually would want to stay could be considered a deal at this price. Those are very rare though.
