Marriott Rewards has updated the Terms and Conditions governing its guest loyalty program on October 6, 2014.
The changes this time are not drastic, but always good to be up to date on them.
You can access Marriott Rewards Terms and Conditions here.
Marriott clarifies here that it can reject any application for program membership and that the benefits may violate local laws.
Marriott Rewards membership is basically not available in jurisdiction where it is prohibited by local law.
Conclusion
It would be interesting know if there are any jurisdiction that would prohibit loyalty program benefits such as points/miles and room upgrades etc? Haven’t come across any so far.
