It is quite surprising that the Hilton HHonors has not updated the date when these changes come into effect, but rather just refer to previous T&C’s changes that were effective back in August.

You can access Hilton HHonors program terms and conditions here.

So, Hilton HHonors has added here few lines about abusive behavior towards other guests and/or employees and failure to pay bills can lead to cancellation of ones account and elite status.

Conclusion

Well. The new T&C’s are written so broadly that even writing a negative review on TripAdvisor could be constituted to be “disruptive”, at least the in revenue sense, and could leave termination of ones account, although I truly doubt that Hilton would do something like that.

Somewhat sloppy from Hilton’s part to try retroactively date these changes back to August 21, 2014, when they became effective on written T&C’s found on Hilton.com on October 17.
