This situation with Hyatt’s website has been going on for years. How difficult it is to throw some money on it and build a website that is not down for hours every week?
Hotels are complaining that the majority bookings are made using OTA (Online Travel Agents) such as Expedia and Booking.com, but maybe they should just spend some money ensuring that their own website infrastructure is adequate?
I have never understood why Hyatt hasn’t fired their entire web development team years ago and come up with a solution that would ensure that their website is not down several times a week during US business hours for hours end at times. It cannot be THAT difficult, can it?
