Starwood has launched their Cyber Monday sale a week early from the December 1 date that it would “officially” fall this year and the 600 or so participating properties in the Americas are offering up to 35% off.
The sale is valid for stays at non-resort properties until February 1 and for resorts one until April 15, 2015. The sale ends on December 7.

Note that the discount appears to be 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% or 30% and SPG members save an additional 5% of the discounted rate.

French Polynesia apparently belongs to North America under the Starwood’s system and the Cyber Monday discount appears to be working here.

It is quite interesting that the Cyber Monday sale rate is the same as Best Flexible one here?
Conclusion
I would imagine that most of the chains are offering some sort of Cyber Monday deals in the coming week. You should check the rates offered under this promotion and book if they are good.
It is interesting that they are using a photo from St. Regis Bora Bora for the sale page when the property is not participating to this sale.
