I have to say that I love hotels that have their club lounge benefits given at regular food and beverage outlets including the happy hours.
Last week, I found myself at the Pullman Jakarta Indonesia (Thamrin-CBD) that doesn’t have their club lounge open yet, but has the club lounge benefits given at the F&B outlets.
So, the hotel has the “happy hour” at one of he bars there and all the drinks on the menu (as far as I can tell) were complimentary.
We had quite a few cocktails and drinks (including champagne) and all of them were waived (I did have to sign for the bills though).
I am not a huge fan of the hotel club lounges, but prefer hotels such as the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, Le Meridien Surawong or this Pullman hotel in Jakarta that have the happy hour in their bar/club, as most of the hotels only do the most basic mixed drink in their club lounges.
So, the happy hours beverage consumption at the (highly) inflated bar prices at this Pullman hotel were more than the rooms rate that I paid at this Pullman hotel.
