Delta Silver & Gold Fast Track Offers For Washington, Alaska & Oregon Residents

As Delta is stepping up its flights to/from the Pacific Northwest, the airlines has launched new Silver & Gold fast track offers.

These offers are available for Delta SkyMiles members whose address on file is in Washington, Alaska or Oregon. You must register and take the return flights by July 31, 2015.

Note that the flights qualifying for this offer must originate from the following airports:

Spokane/GEG; Pasco/PSC; Seattle/SEA; Eugene/EUG; Medford/MFR; Portland/PDX; Redmond/RDM; Anchorage/ANC; Fairbanks/FAI; Juneau/JNU; Ketchikan/KTN; and Sitka/SIT

The Silver or Gold status earned from this offer is valid until January 31, 2016. The new status will become active day after the qualifying activity posts to your account.

Silver offer

Two round-trips would get you a Silver status and six Gold one. You would also earn 15,000 bonus SkyMiles after four and eight round-trips.

Gold offer (for those that already have Silver status)

This is basically the same as the Silver one. You get 15,000 bonus SkyMiles after four and eight round-trips and Gold status after six.

Conclusion

Delta is trying to attract more frequent fliers from states that are Alaska’s strongholds while building up more routes especially out from Seattle. We’ll see how well this is going to work out in the long term for the airline.

Eligibility: This offer is limited to residents of Washington, Alaska and Oregon, as determined by the primary address on file for his/her SkyMiles account. Medallion members with a primary address in their account within Washington, Alaska and Oregon who will no longer have Medallion status beginning March 1, 2015 and non-Medallion members are eligible to enroll in this promotion. Eligible flights can be domestic or international but must be round trip. Only those round-trip flights purchased with a published fare that earn full mileage accrual are eligible. Medallion status will start one day after completion of qualifying travel and ends on January 31, 2016. Medallion status must be earned in subsequent years by traveling the required Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs) or Medallion Qualification Segments (MQSs) and spending the required Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQDs). Medallion benefits may be enjoyed when traveling on Delta or Delta Connection flights by providing your SkyMiles account number when making reservations or at check-in.

Validity Period: To participate in this offer, you must register between the qualification period (January 29, 2015 – July 31, 2015). Enrollment ends 11:59:59 PM, U.S. CST, on July 31, 2015. All travel must be completed by July 31, 2015.
