Asiana OZ162 Seoul-Hiroshima Makes Crash Landing


Asiana flight OZ162 (operated by an Airbus A320) made a crash landing at Hiroshima airport injuring 20 people (no casualties).

Media reports that the plane carried 74 passengers and 8 crew members. There are reports that the plane may have overshot the runway and skidded off.

I am glad that there are no casualties on this Asiana crash/hard landing unlike what happened in San Francisco in July 2013. There have been many accidents involving Asian airlines occurring as of late, an area which seen stiff competition and unparalleled growth in the airline industry.
