UPDATE: SPG Select Member Exclusive 6 Up To 2 Free Night Cat 1-5 Award & Others April/May/June 1 – June/July/August 30/31, 2015 (NOW WITH OFFERS)

The latest round of SPG Select Member Exclusives that I have previously written here and here have several starting and ending dates with number of targeted offers.

I have now been able to piece together probably all the five offers that Starwood has extended to members that have recently signed up for the program but that haven’t had stays (hence the name New Member Exclusive on the web page).

Here are the offers available this time:

– 2,500 bonus Starpoints for the first stay and 5,000 bonus Starpoints for the second stay for a maximum of 7,500 bonus Starpoints

– 1,500 bonus Starpoints for the fist stay and 2,500 bonus Starpoints for the second stay for a maximum of 4,000 bonus Starpoints

– One category 1-5 award night after first stay and another one after second stay for maximum of two free category 1-5 award nights.

– One category 1-5 award night after first stay booked using mobile apps and another one after second stay booked using mobile apps for maximum of two free category 1-5 award nights.

– Earn 5 extra qualifying nights after first stay and 5 extra qualifying nights after second stay for a maximum of 10 elite qualifying nights.

Conclusion

I wish that SPG would extend similar offers for members that actually have stays, but this must be an effective way to get new members to start staying at their hotels.

The separate beginning and ending dates is something that Starwood hasn’t done previously. I guess that this way they don’t have to put up a new page every time they launch the offers.
