You can access IHG Rewards Club page for these changes here and here.

So, I just passed the 75 elite qualifying nights for the year that includes 30 or so rollover nights from 2014 and 6 or so awards nights for the year. This doesn’t really matter that much, as Royal Ambassador members should get this status automatically.

So, have you hit the 75 elite qualifying nights for the 2015 membership year already?

Putting 75 nights yearly into one program is a lot unless you spend most of the year at hotels. I would rather have status with number of programs to share the love and being able to pick and choose the most convenient hotels taking consideration promotions that they are running.

So, I have had roughly 40 paid nights already this year and majority of those at InterContinentals. Should be smooth sailing for Royal Ambassador renewal come this August.
