Well. The sale is 10% to 40% off. If you can find sale rates closer to the 40% off, this can make sense taking advantage of.

Interesting to see that this rate plan would be ineligible per T&C’s for those that would like to upgrade using certificates issued for Diamond members.

Here are the terms and conditions of this offer:

Hyatt Flash Sale special pre-sale to Hyatt Gold Passport members is valid for reservations made between July 1, 2015 and July 3, 2015, for stays between July 8, 2015 and August 31, 2015 (both dates inclusive), at participating hotels in Asia Pacific. Hyatt Flash Sale special pre-sale rate applies to bookings at participating hotels in Asia Pacific, and the discount special rate varies among the participating hotels by room type and selected stay dates, as determined by each participating hotel at its discretion and taking into account room availability. Savings is based on the Hyatt Daily Rates, and will be reflected in rate confirmed at time of reservation. Bookings must be made at least seven days in advance of the intended stay (either via any Hyatt Global Contact Centre or through, using offer code APGP40 and your Hyatt Gold Passport Number), with full, non-refundable payment. Offer code is non-transferable.  Rates are per room, per night, excluding service charges, taxes and other incidental expenses (except in Australia where rates are tax inclusive). Additional charges may apply for additional guests and room-type upgrades. Bookings are subject to availability and a limited number of rooms are allocated to this promotion. Promotional blackout periods may apply due to seasonal periods or special events, and normal arrival/departure restrictions apply, including, but not limited to, minimum length of stay and day of week restrictions. This promotion may not be combined with other offers or discounts.  Offer may not be used in conjunction with the Diamond suite upgrade award.
