How Are Your IHG Rewards Club Spire Elite 100% Bonus Points Posting?

IHG Rewards Club launched it much-awaited Spire Elite level on Friday and LoyaltyLobby was the first to report about it on Thursday (read more here).

The Spire Elite comes with 100% bonus on base points and member can choose a Choice benefit of 25,000 points or gifting Platinum elite status for some.

You can access IHG’s web page for various elite levels here.

IHG Rewards Club Spire Elite Holiday Inn Thessaloniki

I had my first stay post yesterday after the Spire Elite introduction and it came with 100% bonus, although I had already checked out couple of days before.

The Spire Elite bonus points seem to post just fine for non-InterContinental stays.

I would like to hear from a Royal Ambassador member that has had InterContinental stay post since the Spire launch. Did the IHG Rewards Club simply remove the Royal Ambassador bonus, as they indicated for me that they would, and you now have simply one line for Elite Bonus that is 100%?

Had to check that the points were calculated correctly for that two night stay at the Holiday Inn Thessaloniki, because they seemed rather low. It turned out that my paid rate was really a bargain one!
