IHG Rewards Club sent out an interesting offer yesterday to some members (I got it and some reader too) for 10,000 bonus points for a stay in Hong or Macau between July 22 – September 30, 2015.

You only need to have one stay during the promo period that is booked between July 22 and September 20, 2015, to earn the bonus points.

Here are the terms and conditions of this offer:

1. Eligibility: This promotion is only applicable to guests who have received this email and have obtained IHG® Rewards Club membership (“Members”) at the time of booking.

2. Promotion Period: This promotion is applicable only if bookings are made between 00:00am (GMT +8) July 22, 2015 and 11:59pm(GMT+8) September 20, 2015, and stays are completed between July 22, 2015 and September 30, 2015.

3. Participating Hotels: This promotion is applicable to all IHG operated hotels in Hong Kong and Macau: InterContinental Hong Kong, InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong, Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East, Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Causeway Bay, Hotel Indigo Hong Kong Island, Holiday Inn Golden Mile Hong Kong, Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Kowloon East, Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong SoHo, Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Causeway Bay, Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Mongkok, Holiday Inn Macao Cotai Central, Holiday Inn Macau.

4. Bonus points: During the promotion period, Members will receive 10,000 bonus points in addition to the standard IHG® Rewards Club points (“Points”) after qualifying stay (see below for details of the qualification requirements).

5. Qualifying Requirements for bonus points
In addition to other requirements specified in these terms and conditions, participants of this promotion must also meet the following requirements:

(a) Members shall book through IHG’s official website, or by calling the participating hotel or our reservation hotline.

(b) Bonus points are not issued for stays at the following reduced room rates: net wholesale individual and group rate, certain package rates, employee discount rate, friends and family rate, crew rate, seasonal worker/crew rate, 50% travel club discount rate, travel industry discount rate, distressed passenger rate, IHG® Rewards Club Reward Nights/Airline Hotel Reward rate, most rates booked through most third party websites, complimentary hotel stays and any other rates not defined as a Qualifying Room Rate atIHG’s sole discretion.

(c) Only one Member per room will be awarded the applicable bonus points. Only one room will be credited per Member per stay, regardless of the total number of reservations and the total amount of accommodation charges paid by the Member.

(d) The applicable bonus points will be credited to the member’s account within 8 weeks after the end of the promotion period.

(e) Benefits in this email offer may only be used once per member (rendered invalid automatically after use) during the promotional period, and each member may earn up to a maximum of 10,000 bonus points.

(f) Members may participate in the promotion concurrently with “10,000 Reasons to go to HK”.

6. Other Rules:

(a) All charges will be billed in local currency. The Members shall be responsible for the taxes assessed on the rewards in this promotion, if any.

(b) Rooms are not transferable. This promotion applies only to the Member that reserves and check-in the same room.

7. Languages: These terms and conditions are originally prepared in Chinese. If there is any discrepancy between the Chinese version and any other language versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
