Kaligo is a hotel booking service that awards miles for reservations made using the service.
You can get significant number of miles for the first booking that you make using the service and they often have threshold bonuses for spending $500/$1000 during specific period.
Note that these offers have booking deadline, but the actual stay(s) can be as far out as booking window allows. These offers are for first time users of the service.

- You earn 3,000 bonus miles on your first booking and 7,000 additional miles if you spend cumulative $1,000 by October 31, 2015.
Etihad Airways – Etihad Guest 3,000 Bonus Miles For First Booking & Up To 10,000 Miles By Booking November 30, 2015 (access here)
- You can earn 3,000 bonus miles for your first booking and an additional 7,000 bonus miles for spending cumulative $1,000 by November 30, 2015.
British Airways – Executive Club 3,000 Bonus Avios First Booking By December 31, 2015 (access here)
- British Airways Executive Club members can earn 3,000 bonus Avios for first booking made by December 31, 2015.
Remember that hotels booked through Kaligo are not eligible for hotel loyalty program stay/night credits or points. Some hotels may extend elite benefits for stays booked using indirect channeles such as Kaligo.
Conclusion
It makes sense go use Kaligo at least once and collect the bonus miles associated with the first booking using the service. I have yet to use Kaligo, but will at some point when I need to book a non-chain hotel for a stay.
