Hilton HHonors has again launched (they have done this yearly) promotion for double stay credits.
This targeted offer is for stays consumed between October 15 – December 31, 2015.

Note that this offer only doubles the number of STAYS that you have and not NIGHTS.
Conclusion
Hilton HHonors has made a similar targeted offer in previous years as well. Those that are far from requalifying to the Gold status can always do one of the fast tracks to Gold that requires only 4 stays within 90 days.
This is a relatively good offer for qualifying for Diamond status, however, that usually requires 30 stays within a calendar year. One could easily hop between Hilton hotels to get two stays credits each night.
