AirAsia has launched their latest Big Sale for travel between May 1 and February 5, 2017, that must be booked by November 29.
The base fare on some of the routes is zero but you obviously must pay the taxes/fees and the nasty credit card surcharge of $6 per way.

The credit card surcharge that AirAsia charges (calls it a processing fee) is no way connected what they pay for their processor. You can save a lot if you can book this much in advance (I simply cannot).
