As I was expecting on my post about the Avianca LifeMiles sales that started week ago (access here), they are running Cyber Weekend special at 140% bonus until November 30, 2015.
You can buy up to 150,000 LifeMiles and get total of 360,000 miles (210K is the bonus amount for close to $5K.

The terms state that you can earn maximum of 375K miles from this promotion. They apparently are running an additional 10% bonus (would be 150% bonus) with some partner.
The price of one LifeMiles purchased under this offer is 1.38 cents each.
Conclusion
Well. I am probably still not biting because have some LifeMiles sitting on my account for more than a year that I have not find useful use. This could be a reasonable way for some to “purchase” long-haul business class seats at a discount.
