Etihad Airways Guest Info Compromised

Apparently, a third party vendor that run promotions on behalf of Etihad Guest back in 2013 had had their database that included the customer name, email address, street address and the country information compromised.

Doesn’t really come as a surprise. Many of these companies choose the lowest cost bidder for many of the background/back office and something like this shouldn’t come us a surprise.

It took Etihad three years to figure out that some vendor back in 2013 didn’t safeguard the Guest member info?
