There has been Bahrain Air Show this week in Manama and the never quiet CEO of Qatar Airways Akbar Al Baker has been giving interviews about the airlines’ plans.
What caught my eye were the two ultra long-haul flights that the airline plans to launch from Doha to Auckland in New Zealand and Santiago de Chile in Chile.

The airline will operate these two routes using Boeing 777-200LR aircraft that has 2-2-2 seating in business class that is not optimal.

I really like Santiago and tend to visit the city once or twice a year. Let’s hope that the airline will include these two great destinations for the future sales.
