IHG Rewards Club seems to have launched bonus points campaign for select corporate travelers based on an email that LoyaltyLobby reader forwarded to me (remember to forward me offers that you receive from travel providers).
IHG Rewards Club is offering in this case for GE employees 1,000 bonus pointer per stay starting from the second stay between January 25 – April 30, 2016.
There is no landing page on for this offer, but you can access IHG Rewards Club here.
Note that it is unclear from the text if stays outside of Greater China are eligible. The text only states that the FIRST stay needs to be in Greater China (China, Macau, Hong Kong & Taiwan).
It is interesting that Hilton HHonors recently launched bonus points promotion for many corporate travelers (read more here) and now IHG Rewards Club is offering bonus points at least for GE travelers.
The business travel environment must be getting difficult? I cannot see any other reason for these promotions.
