Iberia Plus Discount Award Destinations March – June 2016

Iberia Plus has released new list of short and long-haul destinations that are on sale using Avios (from Iberia’s program).

Redeeming for Iberia’s economy is more bearable as the fuel surcharges are very reasonable (compared to BA and some other European airlines).

For travel March 1 – June 20, 2016:

Band 2: From 5,625 Avios one way:

Band 3: From 7.500 Avios one way:

For travel March 1 – April 30, 2016:

Band 6: From 18,062 Avios one way:

The award prices in economy for 18,050 Avios + $83.70.

Conclusion

You have to give Iberia Plus some credit for keeping the fuel surcharges at reasonable level compared to British Airways that is part of the same IAG.

The only drawback is that these discounted awards are mostly worthwhile for those that are based in Madrid only because feeder flights are not included.
