UPDATE: IHG Rewards Club Book Direct 30,000 Bonus Points For Three Stays March 15 – August 31, 2016 (POINTS POSTING!)

IHG Rewards Club launched earlier this month a promotion to drive more direct bookings (not OTA) from members residing on Asia-Pacific, Middle East & Africa that I wrote about here.

The promotion is for up to 30,000 bonus IHG Rewards Club for merely staying three times between March 15 – August 31, 2016. I can now confirm that the promo points are posting.

This offer is not valid for stays in China, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan.

Here’s what posted to my account:

I had a stay in Kyoto earlier this week that just posted to my account. The 5,000 bonus points for the first stay posted with the stay activity.

Conclusion

I was not originally targeted for this promotion, but was able to register for it after moving my account to Asia. As a matter of fact, I have already had three stays and should get the second and third stay bonuses after those stays post over the next couple of days.

This is easy 30,000 bonus IHG Rewards Club points for those that have any stays coming up in the Asia-Pacific, Middle East or Africa by the end of August.
