I think that I had roughly 100 qualifying nights last year including some awards. Considering that May 1 – September 5 is roughly 127 nights and my personal goal is 46 nights, it would require me to spend 37% of the nights during the four month + 5 days period at IHG hotels.

Please post your offers so that we can compare the personalized offers that IHG Rewards Club has sent out this time.
My personal goal this time is very high and I have some doubts whether it is worth crediting so many stays to the IHG during this period.

Try again in few hours/days. The promo is definitely valid for those that have their account address set in Brazil. Must be a glitch at the IHG’s end.
I have a question, I already booked 4 nights for July. I guess those nights are not going to be taken into consideration in order to get the bonus points. Is that right? Should I cancel and rebook those nights now that the promotion is on? Thank you.

137,000 points for 68 nights….I would have to stay 4 nights every week plus an extra 2 nights, not going to happen.
Very high night requirement. I believe that they count the number of nights you had the same period last year and then add some to come up with the highest hurdle for this promo.
I don’t remember exactly what my number was for it last year, but the highest total I’ve had from any of the promotions is 54 nights, of which I was able to stay 55 nights.. Another 13 nights is too big of leap. Oh well, Ill have to see what the other chains have to offer
Well its not good, its not bad. I will have had 32 nights, 27 paid to date, I have 8 paid nights booked in May, 7 nights with rewards, and a 10 day trip to Europe that will see at least 7 nights booked, but seeing as I am cruising to Spire renewal on money paid (32K of the 75K needed) its safe to assume that the moment I cross the 14 day threshold, ill be taking moving to Marriots. I took advantage of the megabonus for two stays this month (3 nights at Cosmopolitan, LV and one night in Brisbane) to cash out that free night chip.
When IHG devalue the stretch target and impose dumb rules (like the hit 6 of 8 bonuses, excluding the first (why not say 6 of 7), i look elsewhere.

Does using Points+Cash qualify as a “qualified hotel night stay” for this promotion? It doesn’t list it in the terms and conditions that I could see.
Points + Cash is an award night. Unless you have such a hurdle in your targeted offer, it won’t qualify.
