Fairmont President’s Club has just released the May & June 2016 Great Rates – Great Dates for number of properties worldwide.
These are discounted rates for dates during which these hotels probably have low occupancy (and thus need to fill more rooms).

Conclusion
The Fairmont hotels (Swissotels and Raffles’ too) are being bought by Accor and eventually these will be part of the Le Club AccorHotels in on form or another. I will try to cover these brands better as they become part of Accor.
It is worth having look at these rates to see if there is something that fits your dates and wallet.

As a FPC Platinum member, as is my wife, we never stay at Fairmont properties without utilizing suite upgrade certificates and even supplementing those with room upgrade certificates to get bigger and better suites by dealing directly with the properties. As such, while these regular promos are very attractive price-wise, we’ve never used them given the restrictions on certificate use.
I have been able to use suite certs on third party bookings. Do they really enforce this?
Great rates great dates isn’t a third party booking. It’s through Fairmont. As with anything, though, YMMV, and you’re more likely to have success at the property. We tend not to want to take the chance of NOT getting the upgrades we seek and always want them in hand when we arrive.
I, too, have used certificates on third party bookings without problem and often just have Fairmont match the third party offerings to ensure that they are qualifying stays for status.
