A LoyaltyLobby reader dropped me a note this morning to check the latest Le Club AccorHotels website booking update that may actually be a downgrade.
You can no longer use your earned Le Club AccorHotels points to pay for the stay and and it is not identified during the booking process what rates would be even eligible to use points for.
You can access Le Club AccorHotels here.
Here’s the email from the reader:
Please cover the latest changes of accorhotels website , it was awful and hard to check as it look like mobile site when checking the rates, rates display not stated either it can use point to offset or not.. it also has no option to use the points at payment page , they should not make any changes.
Are there any other issues that readers are having with the updated Le Club AccorHotels website? The old one has been an eyesore for a long time and seems that they have merely now updated the actual booking page and the hotels are still presented on the old chaotic style.
When will these hotels and airlines understand that the simpler, the better? Drowning people with flashing text, points and other info just makes the booking process worse. I am sure that the consultants that have come up with this idea are laughing to the bank.
They should have rolled back the previous website version that had full functionality. The current one doesn’t.
