Part of the program is giving Gold status to the first 15,000 members that register and have qualifying stay. Gold status usually requires 10 nights.

IHG® Rewards Club and Holiday Inn® hotels will provide small business travelers the opportunity to receive an upgrade to IHG Rewards Club Gold Elite status as part of the Inn Business promotion (“Offer”), from July 14, 2016 until 15,000 registrants meet the Offer eligibility requirements or December 31, 2016, whichever comes first (“Offer Period”). Gold Elite Status Upgrade is available only to those new and current IHG Rewards Club members that travel on behalf of a small business, register for offer at www.HolidayInn.com/InnBusiness (and join IHG Rewards Club if not a member at www.HolidayInn.com/InnBusiness), who book at least one (1) qualifying stay at any Holiday Inn® hotel in the fifty (50) United States and the District of Colombia within ninety (90) days of Offer registration. (Excluding Holiday Inn Express, Holiday Inn Resorts, and Holiday Inn Club Vacations). Gold Elite status to be awarded to eligible Member’s account within 4 weeks of completed stay. A small business traveler is defined for this Offer as a current employee of small business that travels for business on behalf of the business. A qualifying small business is defined as an entity that (1) is domiciled and has a principal place of business in the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia; (2) does not have more than one hundred (100) employees, and (3) has not filed for bankruptcy within the last two (2) years, and/or has not made an assignment for the benefit of creditors, is unable to pay debts as they mature, files or has filed against it a petition in any court setting forth or alleging any of the foregoing, or has a trustee, receiver, or officer of the court appointed to control or supervise all or any substantial part of its assets or business at the time of entry.
