Turkish Airlines has been offering complimentary internet access for its business class passengers and now this is expanding to Elite and Elite Plus members seated in economy class as well.
The airline emailed its frequent fliers today with the message above.
Conclusion
This is a really welcome development especially on longer flights. I have not flown Turkish for couple of years and thus not sure how much they would charge for the access. On my recent Thai Airways flight the charge would have been $35 for 100MB while Emirates gives 500MB for a buck.
I am really glad that complimentary internet access is now spreading to airlines as well.
