Conclusion

I did this offer couple of months ago when the promo was for 12,000 bonus Flying Blue miles for “corporate” customers and the miles posted to my account very promptly after the stay. I covered the offer with all the twists on my post that you can access here, here and here.

If you choose your hotel carefully, the stay can be “free” when considering the value of the miles earned.

Here are the terms and conditions of this offer:

To be eligible for this special offer, members must make a first time booking of 2 nights or more before 31 December 2016 (11.59pm PST) using the earn miles option paying in full with a credit card. Eligible member bookings will receive 10,000 bonus miles in addition to the normal base miles earned with hotel bookings through PointsHound for Flying Blue. Bookings must be made via the special promotional web page link to be eligible to receive the bonus: https://flyingblue.pointshound.com/milesoffer. PointsHound for Flying Blue reserves the right to retract the bonus offer at any time without prior notice. PointsHound for Flying Blue reserves the right to delay or retract a bonus offer if deceptive booking behaviour is detected. This behaviour includes creating multiple loyalty program accounts, cancel/rebooking activity and hotel non-stays.
