The number of Le Club AccorHotels points that you can earn depends of the Economist product that you subscribe to:

  • 1 year digital subscription: 1 500 points
  • 2 years digital subscription: 3 000 points
  • 1 year print subscription: 1 500 points
  • 2 years print subscription: 3 000 points
  • 1 year print + digital subscription: 2 000 points
  • 2 years print + digital subscription: 4 000 points

Conclusion

The Economist has had promotions with a number of airlines that appear to be more beneficial in the number of miles earned compared to this Le Club AccorHotels one.

This offer would have made sense earlier when the points would have counted towards elite status. These partner points won’t count towards status come January 1.

The Economist is one of the better magazines out there and I try to read it through as often as possible.
