Lufthansa has decided to enhance all newspapers and magazines away by offering fliers complimentary eJournals that can be downloaded to member’s device.
Depending on the status and the cabin, Lufthansa passengers can download 3 to 20 magazines and papers up to three days before of their flight.
You can access Lufthansa’s web page for eJournals here.

Here’s information about eJournals from Lufthansa:
Thanks to free eJournals you can have a variety of up-to-date newspapers and magazines within reach at all times.
Lots of newspapers and magazines in various languages and of various kinds are now available as free eJournals. You can download them easily to your smartphone, tablet or laptop before your flight, so that your travel reading is to hand before, during and after your flight in a space-saving and convenient way.
Just enter your name and booking code and download all available titles to your mobile device before your flight. Enjoy your free downloads from three days before departure until the last day of your journey.
When you book a Lufthansa operated flight for an individual route you will be eligible for a certain number of free eJournal downloads. Your personal downloads are based on the travel class you have booked and your Miles & More status.
Interesting to see exactly what titles are available as eJournals and in what languages. I would assume that Financial Times, International New York Times, WSJ and the Economist should be available among others.
I like the idea that you can download these up to three days before of your flight. I do find it easier, however, to read actual paper than from my mobile device and don’t currently carry a tablet with me that would be the most appropriate format for these.
