SPG has this separate SPG Pro Executive Assistant promotion for those members that book on behalf of others. Good way to earn some bonus Starpoints for stays booked and consumed by others during the three month period.
Here are the terms and conditions of this promotion:
Eligibility: Must be an SPG® Pro Executive Assistant with active status to participate in this promotion. The SPG Pro Executive Assistant must have accepted the terms and conditions of the programme to be eligible for the promotion.
Registration: SPG Pro Executive Assistants must register online at spg.com/bonusup by 11:59pm ET on 15 May 2017. Registered members can earn bonus Starpoints® for eligible bookings that are made and consumed from 15 February 2017 until 15 May 2017 (the “Promotion Period”) at any of the more than 1,300 hotels and resorts in the SPG programme.
Earning: Registered members can earn bonus Starpoints for eligible bookings made on behalf of the member’s colleagues/travellers whose stays are booked and consumed from 15 February 2017 until 15 May 2017 at any of the more than 1,300 hotels and resorts in the SPG programme. Members will earn 1,500 bonus Starpoints after booking three eligible traveller stays, an additional 5,000 bonus Starpoints when they reach 10 total eligible traveller stays, and an additional 15,000 bonus Starpoints when they reach 30 total traveller stays during the Promotion Period. A total of 21,500 bonus Starpoints can be earned during the Promotion Period. All eligible traveller stays booked and consumed during the Promotion Period will be counted towards earning bonus Starpoints as long as the member registers by 11:59pm ET on 15 May 2017.
Bonusing: Bonus Starpoints will post to the registered members’ account within 2-4 weeks of the qualifying transaction posting to the SPG Pro member’s account.
Participating Properties: All 1,300+ hotels and resorts worldwide that participate in the SPG programme are participating in this promotion. Hotels and resorts are part of our 11 brands: St. Regis®, The Luxury Collection®, W®, Le Méridien®, Westin®, Sheraton®, Tribute Portfolio™, Design Hotels™, Aloft®, Element℠ and Four Points®.
Eligible Stays: An eligible booking is defined as a booking made by the SPG Pro Executive Assistant that results in a consumed and paid-for stay by a corporate traveller other than himself or herself, with eligible nights that are booked and occur within the Promotion Period. A qualifying rate is any rate for which an SPG Pro Executive Assistant is eligible to earn SPG Pro benefits. Descriptions of SPG-participating hotels and resorts and of Eligible Stays and Eligible Rates can be found at spg.com under Terms & Conditions of the SPG Programme. See Section 10.2 for the complete eligibility rules for earning as an SPG Pro Executive Assistant. Consecutive reservations for this offer will not be honored. A consecutive stay is when checkouts and check-ins occur the same day in the same hotel for the same guest. A minimum stay of one night is required. A maximum of 90 days applies. SPG Pro Executive Assistant must enter his or her valid SPG Pro member number with the reservation at the time of booking to qualify to earn bonus Starpoints.
