REMINDER: Hilton Honors Buy Points 100% Bonus March 16 – May 3, 2017 (Purchase Limit Increased To 160,000 For Some!)

Hilton HHonors launched last month a campaign for buying points and at 100% bonus for purchases made until May 3, 2017.

The purchase limit has been raised to 160,000 for some members from 80,000 for the duration of this sale (before any possible bonuses). You can purchase up to 320,000 or 160,000 Hilton Honors points during this sale when bonus is included.

The price of a Hilton HHonors points purchased under this offer is 0.5 cents each.

Conclusion

Buying points or miles merely because they are on sale doesn’t make much sense.The best use of Hilton HHonors points is when the paid rates are through the roof or some of those 5,000 points properties (or lower cat properties that have high paid rates).

Hilton HHonors sells points several times a year at 100% bonus or at 50% off. The price of a point purchased during these sales is 0.5 cents each.

I haven’t yet made the purchase but planning to do later this week.
