Quite a distributing video emerged from ANA flight NH6 that was destined from Narita to Los Angeles this past Monday May 1, 2017.
An American male passenger that was drunk based on the reports caused some havoc before take off and a fight broke out. The passenger had apparently also hit an ANA employee. The male was then arrested and the flight took off an hour and 38 minutes late.
Here’s an excerpt from Japan Times:
A 44-year-old American male passenger has been charged with assault after he choked an All Nippon Airways (ANA) employee at Narita International Airport on Monday night.
According to police and an ANA spokesperson, the incident occurred just before 6 p.m. on ANA Flight 6 which was about to depart for Los Angeles. Fuji TV quoted police as saying the American passenger, who was drunk, started acting in an unruly manner.
And here from New York Post:
Two passengers duked it out in a free-for-all brawl aboard a Japanese airplane, ending in the arrest of a boozed-up American traveler, according to reports.
“He yells, ‘You think I’m crazy? What about the government!’ Then exits the plane. 1.5 hours later and we finally take off,” the Arizona-based photographer added.
Looks very serious and would be interesting to know what started this all.
I would assume that the American passenger that was misbehaving may end up spending more time in Japan than originally planned….
