Cathay Pacific yesterday announced three new European routes that the airline will start operating in the Spring of 2018.
Brussels and Dublin routes will be year round while the Copenhagen service will be season. It is unclear if the service to Dusseldorf will remain.
You can access Cathay Pacific here.
Here are the proposed flight scheduled as of now (subject to change):
Good that Cathay Pacific has decided to extend their European. I would say that Copenhagen is bit of a surprise because it is saturated market with Middle Eastern airlines and both Singapore Airlines and Thai also flying from there. Also, Scandinavian countries are not known for buying premium fares (low yield market).
Not sure if Cathay will keep the Dusseldorf route that is not supposedly doing that well. I guess that it is good to have these not so well doing routes for award redemption purposes around…
