Success: Caesars Total Rewards Match To Diamond Status From MLife Noir – Promotion Ends 30th September 2017

Earlier this month I wrote about the current Total Rewards promotion offering a status match to their very solid Diamond level from competing tiers of other gaming loyalty schemes (varies by state) which ends in 3 days (September 30th, 2017).

I’m happy to report that I was able to successfully complete this match yesterday as I’m in Las Vegas at the moment and it was super easy as well.

You can find my original article on this promotion here.

Besides the casino and possible upgrade benefits Total Rewards Diamond is a good amount of money when staying at the Casino Hotels because the status comes with waived resort fees. These fees have taken Las Vegas and other gaming destinations like an epidemic and can reach close to US$40 per night which makes a waiver benefit really worthwhile after just a few nights.

You can access the official Total Rewards website for the status match promotion here.

This promotion obviously targets customers who already have top tier status with other gaming establishments such as MLife (MGM), Grazie Rewards (Venetian), Identity (Cosmopolitan) and others.

The process to get this done is easy:

Present your valid, eligible loyalty card from select competitors to any Total Rewards Center between June 1, 2017 and September 30, 2017, and we will upgrade you to Diamond status through January 31, 2018.

As I’m staying at a MGM property I just walked over to the Harrahs and visited the Players Club booth, presenting my already exisiting base membership card and MLife Noir card as well as a piece of photo ID (used my passport, if you have a U.S. state issued drivers license you should be good to go as well).

The lady copied both cards, asked me for a current phone number and I was on my way with a new Total Rewards Diamond Card.

I have another reservation as a Caesars property this week and this will come in handy to waive the resort fees.

Benefits include:

  • No resort fees
  • Access to Diamond Lounges where you can rest and relax with exclusive amenities
  • Priority lines at hotel check-in, restaurants, casino cashiers and the Total Rewards Centers
  • Turn Reward Credits® into free play at a preferred rate of $1 for every 175 Reward Credits ($5 increments, up to $500 each day)
  • 20% discount at casino gift shops
  • And more!

The lady mentioned there would be free show tickets added to the account in a few week but even though I’m likely to return until January I don’t think these tickets will be very interesting to me as I’m not very big on shows except concerts like Celine Dion or Shania Twain at Caesars Palace.

Conclusion

It’s a nice and easy way to try Total Rewards Diamond that comes with lounges at the casino (where you can also check-in for the resort) and as I now mentioned several times the resort fee waiver. If you currently have an Elite Tier with another Players Club such as MLife Platinum (which was able to be matched to from Hyatt Diamond until Spring 2017) you should try and get your match in the next couple of days if possible.
